The Founders
Suhani Mittal
Co-founder
Suhani Mittal is a senior at Walter Payton College Prep in Chicago. With her motto, “Every child deserves a fulfilling education and we should help them get there,” Suhani co-founded Evergreen Learning Chicago (ELC) to narrow the widening achievement gap post-pandemic among students in inner-city schools. She is responsible for building the ELC team, recruiting volunteers for tutoring, and forging partnerships with Chicago Public Schools looking for high quality, free online tutoring for middle-schoolers. She is an avid tennis player, and loves to learn, read, and experiment with her creativity through painting.

Hi and welcome to Evergreen Learning Chicago! My name is Alexis Park, and I’m a senior attending Walter Payton College Prep and a co-founder and Executive Director of ELC. I enjoy reading and writing flash fiction, and I am a self appointed Trader Joes connoisseur!

At Evergreen Learning, we have a growing team of tutors who are passionate about helping 4th to 8th graders excel in their studies. Our team is comprised of knowledgeable and experienced individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of our students. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, and we are proud to offer free, high-quality tutoring.
